various Political Parties in Nkoranza Districts in the Brong Ahafo Region, to exercise decency and respect to avoid inconvenience situation towards impending General Election Schedule on 7^th December, 2008.

 
Mr. Manu made the observation when addressing the various political parties representative which include; National Democratic Congress (NDC), Convention People Party (CPP), New Patriotic Party (NPP) and others in the District Assembly Conference Hall at Nkoranza.

 
The Director of the NCCE said it’s extremely essential for the political parties in the Districts to be sensitized to know their role that would lead to peaceful Elections coming December as he urged them to desist from personal attacks due to a particular Party that one chose to be a member.

 
Mr. Manu therefore stressed the need for Political Party leaders to educate their members to desist from violent attacks that often erupt as a results of some opposition Party candidates or executives who instigate them by supporting them financially, adding that they should value their life and the nation’s future.

 
Mr. Manu Caution the Party youth against defacing Political Party posters as well as destroying it and said this negative practice is serious offence and that the offenders will be liable to prosecution and imprisonment by the law court.

 
He urged the Political Party leaders to ensure that Agents selected to supervise the elections are people who can read and write in order that they would anthracite the result without further problems adding that; drunken persons should not be appointed as polling Agent and to cause confusion during the elections.
