His Excellency the President, Mr John Agyekum Kufuor today met the NPP Flagbearer Hon. Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo and Mr Alan Kyerematen, the runner up in the recently held NPP Flagbearership Contest.

After a three-hour meeting, it was decided that the NPP will immediately empanel a committee to investigate all the allegations made by Mr Alan Kyerematen following the NPP Flagbearership Primaries, with a view to bringing about reconciliation among all the stakeholders. To this end, the President is appealing to all party members and the concerned public to desist from any acts or statements that will inflame passions in the current situation.
