Minister for Youth and Sports

The Minister for Youth and Sports, Hon. Clement Kofi Humado (MP) was born on 18th December, 1953.

He has a master of Philosophy in Governance and Leadership from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2002.
He obtained Graduate Diploma in Agricultural Administration (1980) and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (1976) from the University of Ghana, Legon.
Hon. Humado is currently the NDC Member of Parliament for Anlo Constituency (2005 to date) and has served on many of the Parliamentary Committees. Among them are, Special Committee on Poverty Reduction Strategy (Chairman), Committee on Food, Agriculture and Cocoa Affairs, Deputy Ranking Member of Select Committee on Science and Environment.
He is a consultant with international experience in agriculture, Rural Development, Micro Finance etc. He has undertaken several consultancy assignments for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) from 2002 to 2004.

From 1991 to 1999, he worked as Deputy Project Manager/Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator of the International Fund for Agriculture in the Gambia, Sierra Leone and Ghana.

Hon. Humado worked in the United Nations World Food Programme, (Ghana) as the National Officer from 1990 to 1991.

In 1987 to 1988 he worked in the North Western Province Area Development Project, Republic of Zambia as the Expatriate and Evaluation Specialist.

From 1982 to 1987, the Hon. Minister worked with the Volta Region Agricultural Development Project as the head of monitoring and Evaluation Unit.

Hon. Clement Kofi Humado (MP) is married with children and loves tennis.

He comes on board with Management, excellent writing and effective communication skills.
