H.E. President, John Dramani Mahama, was born at Bole Bamboi in the Northern Region on the 29th November, 1958. He is married to Mrs. Lordina Mahama and has seven children.

He was sworn-in as the substantive President of the Republic of Ghana in accordance with Article 62 of the 1992 Constitution on evening of  the 24th of July 2012. He succeeded the Late President John Evans Attah Mills who died in the afternoon of the 24th of July 2012 whilst in Office, after a short illness.

H.E Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur, was born in Cape Coast in the Central Region on the 29th of April 1951. He had his General Certificate of Education ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level at the Mfantsipim Secondary School in Cape Coast from 1964 to 1971.

He proceeded to the University of Ghana, Legon where he obtained the B.Sc. in 1974 and M.Sc.in 1976, both in Economics. He wrote his thesis on “Public policy and economic growth. A model of economic growth-Ghana, 1956-1974” He is married with two children.
