Everpure Ghana Limited, yesterday, donated 20 boxes and 1000 bags of bottled and sachet water, respectively, to the Greater Accra Regional Co-ordinating Council (RCC) to support victims of the June 3rd disaster in Accra.

The Donation was in response to a call by government to the public to assist the Council in making provision for several individuals who have been displaced owing to the catastrophe that befell inhabitants of Ghana’s capital city, Accra, last week.

In his remarks, the General Manager of Everpure Ghana Limited, Mr. Martin Asamoah Asare, said the gesture by the company was part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, adding that the items were to provide some relief in this time of pain.

Mr Asare used the opportunity to extend condolences to all victims and families of the deceased and pledged the company’s readiness to supply more of the products to support the victims if the need arose.

The Chief Director of RCC, Mr Ernest Nyagbe, who received the items, thanked Everpure Ghana for the gesture and expressed the hope that other institutions and companies would emulate their example.

Mr. Nyagbe admonished the general public to support the effort of government in promoting attitudinal change to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
