First Page Foundation, a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), has embarked upon a project aimed at preserving the peace before, during and after the November 2016 General Elections.

The Project, dubbed ‘Preserving the Nation through Entertainment’, comprises a series of musical concerts within and outside Ghana, using a single tract album of Madam Vivian Sam, a renowned gospel artiste and the Foundation’s Peace Ambassador for 2016.

The musical concerts would take place in Europe, United Kingdom, United States of America, Canada, Accra and Kumasi, while Supo Kofi Sarpong, NeroX, Hanna Marfo, Joyce Blessing, Bernice Ofei and Kwadwo Ampong are among the artistes expected to perform.

Apostle Collins Obeng-Agyare, President of First Page Foundation, who disclosed these at the launch the project in Accra, yesterday, said Madam Vivian Sam’s single tract album had been composed purposely for peaceful elections in Ghana.

Apostle Obeng-Agyare said his Foundation had selected Madam Sam’s track, ‘Ghana Montie’, among other peace songs, because of the message of peace and the blessings to be received by Ghanaians from the preservation of the peace.
