Officials from both the Lower Manya Krobo Municipal Education Directorate and the Municipal Assembly have visited some primary schools in the Municipality to interact with the school children on their first day at School.


Notably among the schools visited were Nuaso Presby Primary School, Mantse Israel, Islamic Primary and RC Ahudjo. 


Items, including pencils, crayons, exercise books, biscuits and drinks, among others, were donated to encourage the children to stay in school and study hard.


The Municipal Chief Executive Officer for Lower Manya Krobo, Mr Simon Kweku Tetteh, urged the children to respect their teachers and parents, and also study hard to become successful people in future.


Mr Tetteh urged the children to make good use of the items given them.


The Municipal Director for Education, Madam Rose Yaa Akanyi, expressed appreciation to the teachers for their efforts in training the students.


Madam Akanyi also advised the children to take advantage of the Free Senior High School policy and study hard for excellent academic results.
