Ghana is to benefit from a $1.6 million food project to support the Ghana School Feeding Programme (GSFP).

This follows an agreement signed in Beijing, China, between the world food programme (WFP) and the HNA group – a leading china-based corporation – to fight hunger globally.

The Vocational Training for Females (VTF), a Presbyterian non-governmental organization (NGO), has organised a training workshop in Information Communication Technology (ICT) for 100 female entrepreneurs in Accra.

The participants, who included dressmakers, hairdressers, painters, sprayers and other artisans selected from rural communities, were educated in basic computer skills, to help them to improve their businesses.
