President Mills Makes Cabinet Reshuffle PDF Print E-mail

His Excellency the President, Prof. John Atta Mills yesterday in a press release has made Cabinet reshuffle and appointed new Ministers.
 
The statement signed by Mr. Mahama Ayariga has Mr. Martin Amidu as Minister designate for the Interior, Hon. John Tia replaces Hon. Zita OkaiKoi as Minister designate for Information, whilst Mrs. OkaiKoi becomes the new Minister for Tourism.
 
Hon. E. T. Mensah, the Majority Chief Whip has been appointed as Minister designate for Employment and Social Welfare, whilst Hon. Stephan Kwao Amoanor moves to the Office of the President as Minister of State.

Hon. Alban S. K. Bagbin, replaces Hon. Albert Abongo as Minister designate for Water Resources, Works and Housing. Hon. Mrs. Juliana Azumah Mensah moves from Tourism to the Ministry of Women and Children’s Affairs, whilst Hon. Akua Sena Dansua becomes the new Minister for Youth and Sports.

Mr. Moses Magbenba replaces Mr. S. S. Nanyina as Northern Regional Minister designate, Hon. John Gyetuah, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry moves to the Office of the President as Minister of State designate.

Mr. Mahama Ayariga, President’s Spokes person is now Deputy Minister designate for Trade and Industry, Hon. lnusah Abdulai Fuseini replaces Dr. Kwabena Donkor as Deputy Minister designate at the Ministry of Energy.

Mr. Nasamu Asabigi is now Deputy Minister designate for the Northern Region, whilst Hon. Cletus Avoka former Minister of the Interior and Hon. Abdul- Rashid Pelpuo, former Minister of Youth and Sports are to be re-assigned,  Alhaji lddi Saani is to be replaced as the Deputy Minister for Water Resources, Work and Housing.
