As part of the activities on the 3rd Ghana Policy Fair, Ghanaians are advised to learn principles which would contribute to family excellence to help build a healthy nation.

This was stated by the President of Fruitful Ministries International, Rev. Dr. Samuel Kisseadoo as he delivered a speech on the topic “Principles of Pursuing Family Excellence”. Rev. Kisseadoo advised people planning to marry to tread cautiously as marriage is a lifelong affair. He emphasized on the need to study one’s partner very well before entering into marriage as most divorces are due to incompatibility of partners. “Most breakup homes, he stressed, are as a result of couples not considering their compatibility before marriage”.

Rev. Kisseadoo explained that, the motives people enter marriage with determine the success or otherwise of the marriage. “I therefore advise people to be sure of their love for their partners before marriage”, he pointed out.

He encouraged couples to develop their talents and gifts through prayers and urged prospective couples to ascertain their respective talents and tap them to build a lovely marriage to promote an excellence family that will go a long way to promote development.

Dr. Christine Amoah Nuamah, the Special Adviser of the President, who was the moderator for the dialogue session, urged institutions and other religious bodies to keep the dialogue on excellence family going.

The Deputy Minister for Women and Children Affairs (MOWAC) Hajia Hawuwu Boya Gariba advised the youth to abstain from pre-marital sex and encouraged marriage couples to adopt Family Planning.

Present at the session was the Deputy Minister for Information, Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa.
