The National Sports Council (NSC) has launched its official website at a ceremony held at the Media Centre of the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium in Accra. The website, www.sportscouncil.com.gh has information on all the programmes and activities of the various national associations under the council and also the history of the NSC from its formation to date. In his address, the Chief Executive Officer of the NSC, Mr. Wolanyo Agra said, the launch of the website is coming at a time when the NSC is aiming at facilitating a viable and internationally competitive service delivery in sports. These, he said, include aggressive marketing and consequent economic benefits through vigorous marketing drives to be derived from their new facilities, services and products, research, financial plan and strategy implementation. Mr. Agra noted that the website will ensure a changed image, increase clientele and provide information and assistance to those who may choose to do business with the NSC and serve as a medium to market or sell the Council to the outside world, thus creating an avenue for customer feedback for them to act upon.
