Mr Arthur Paes, a Dutch Investor in Ghana, has observed that President John Dramani Mahama was the best replacement for the late President John Evans Atta Mills, to continue his good works and ideals. Paying tribute to the late President in Accra yesterday, Mr Paes described President Mills as "Smart, intelligent, a man with so much experience and a good listener, with passion to develop his country".
Mr Paes said he had a personal encounter with late President Mills and some executives of the National Democratic Party, shortly before he assumed office as President. The Dutch investor said President Mills showed so much resilient and worked so hard until he became ill and died a few minutes later, and noted that “he had two wonderful sides, that of a father and a President”. Mr Paes said the late President Mills was honest and worthy of emulation, and appealed to Ghanaians to remain united and focused to move the country forward. He appealed to Ghanaians to ceaselessly pray for the Government and all politicians and ensure peace in Election 2012. Source: GNA
