The Funeral Planning Committee (FPC) acknowledges with thanks the numerous companies and individuals that have, so far, donated generously towards the funeral of our departed President, H.E. Professor John Evans Atta Mills.

The FPC also acknowledges efforts being made by several other public-spirited companies and individuals to contact the Committee to contribute towards this noble cause.

A press statement issued and signed by a Deputy Minister for Information, Mr James Agyenim- Boateng today said, “The public is being notified to direct all such gestures to the Office of the State Protocol, State House – Accra where the FPC is located.”

The statement said “the FPC once again thanks all Ghanaians for the spirit of unity and love that have being expressed so far and encourages same, particularly as we enter next week, the week that President Atta Mills will be laid to rest in peace.”
