The President, Professor John Evans Atta Mills, yesterday commissioned an electrification project at Nantwo Zozu, in the Tamale Metro, an initiative by the Minister for Communication, also a Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu.

Commissioning the project, Prof. Atta Mills said the light will lead to a total transformation of the area. He therefore urged the people to make good use of the light and improve their lives.

The President also urged them to ensure peace in the area since peace is vital in the development of a nation.

The Paramount Chief of Nantwo Zozu Traditional Area, Naa Alhassan Sulemana II, congratulated the President for the electrification project in the area.

He said it will go a long way to mitigate some of their challenges.
