The Dormaa Municipal Chief Executive, Hon Vincent Oppong Asamoah, last Wednesday visited Candidates writing the Basic Education Certificate Examination at their various centers throughout the Municipality. His visit was to wish the pupils well and encourage them to give out their maximum best in the examination.

Last year, Dormaa Municipality came second in the National BECE results and first in the Region. It was therefore the hope of the MCE that his people will come out as the national champions this time hence the visit to wish them well in their endeavour.

The MCE was away for other official assignment outside the Municipality and could not visit them on the first day of the examination. His visit on the third day sought to ginger the candidates when he asked for God’s blessings for them and advise them on the need to work hard to maintain their position if they could not improve upon it, to keep the name of the district high on the pedestal.

He was very hopeful and satisfied with the orderly manner in which the examination was conducted. Accompanying him was the new Municipal Director of Education and other officials from the Municipal Education Directorate.

At the DORMASS centre, Hon Oppong Asamoah, wished the Senior High candidates who were writing Physics practical in the West Africa Senior Certificate Examination his blessings.

The school authorities of Dormaa Senior High also seized the opportunity to send the MCE round the school to see for himself some problems the school was facing as well as the ongoing projects being carried out under the GET fund.

The BECE exams ended today, with ICT as the last paper.
