Many Ghanaians are still gripped with shock, sorrow and anguish and are yet to come to terms that President John Evans Atta has departed earth, as they celebrate ‘the one week’ of his demise. In Accra, from Kwabenya through Haatso, the West Lands, Legon to Accra Central, the Ghana News Agency (GNA) observed that people were claded in black and red cloths, while some vehicles had red bands hanged on them, all to signify their grief at the death of President Mills.

Uncharacteristic, was the seemingly quietness and the lack of traffic on the usually busy road from Kwabenya/Atomic roundabout through to Legon, and although people went about their daily activities, obvious sorrow was seen on their faces.
