Dr Linda Vanotoo, Greater Accra Regional Health Director of the Ministry of Health, yesterday asked pregnant women to abide by directives of health personnel, and to regularly attend antenatal.
He also appealed to women to eat balanced diet before they conceive to avoid becoming anaemic when they get pregnant.

Mr Kwaku Nicol, Chairman of the National Premix Committee, has urged landing beach committees (LBC) to initiate development projects to help improve the living standard of the people in their communities.
He said that would enable the objective for the formation of those committees and subsequent control of the proceeds from the sale of the pre-mix fuel, to be achieved.
