Upper East Regional Minister Advised To Make People The Focus Of His Administration

Dr Ephraim Nsoh Avea, outgoing Upper East Regional Minister, has counselled his successor, Alhaji Limuna Mohammed-Muniru, to make people the central focus of his administration.

According to him, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as a social democratic party is a peoples’ centred party and that in every decision making process, the interest of the citizenry must be first before any other thing.

CePME Works To Addresses Falling Standards Of Education In Upper East

The Centre for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (CePME), a non-governmental organisation which is into education, is complementing the efforts of the Ghana Education Service (GES) to address the fallen standards of education in the Upper East Region.

As part of this, the NGO last Friday organised a workshop on continuous Professional Development for 300 basic school teachers drawn from the Bolgatanga Municipality of the Upper East Region.
