Dr Kwaku Karikari, Western Regional Director of Health Services yesterday called for proactive measures towards achieving the Millennium Development Goal (MDG) five that touches on the improvement of maternal health by 2015.

The Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) has appealed to Ghanaians to work harder to transform the nation into a broad based industrial and export led country.

To this end, Mr Kofi Antiri, Director in charge of Research, Investment and Development of the GIPC, urged Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAS) as well as individuals to identify projects in their areas of operation for promotion and marketing assistance from the GIPC in order to attract both local and foreign investors.
