Captain Anthony Cudjoe (retired), Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Chief Executive, last Tuesday cut the sod for work to begin on a GH¢1.3 million Kansaworodo Light Industrial Area project.

Goldfields Ghana Limited, Tarkwa mine, has projected to invest $3.6 million (GH¢6.84 million) on its sustainable development projects for this year.

The projects, which have already been approved by the company, comprised Junior High School blocks, maternity unit, hostel, extension of small town water supply system and mechanised boreholes.
