Mobile Zone Ghana Limited, dealers in Techno phones and electronics, will today make a presentation to Paralympic athlete Ajara Mohamed, for emerging as the Sportswriters Association of Ghana (SWAG) Sports Personality of the Year at the recent 37th SWAG/MTN Awards held at the Banquet Hall, State House, Accra. A Press Release from the SWAG Secretariat and copied to the Information Services Department (ISD) Sports Desk stated that Ajara, will be presented with a 32” Inch flat screen techno colour television, a mobile phone and cash donation of  GH¢1,000.00.

The gesture according to officials of the mobile phone company is in recognition of the achievements of the Paralympian who scooped two gold medals at the 2011 All Africa Games, held in Maputo, Mozambique.

The donation, according to the Release, is also expected to serve as a motivation for Ajara and to inspire other sports men and women to aspire to the highest level.

Prior to this, Ajara, who swept aside stiff competition from Andre Ayew and Harrison Afful to win the prestigious SWAG/MTN Sports Personality of the Year Award,   took home a trophy, certificate, hamper from Akosombo Textiles Limited (ATL), souvenirs from lead sponsors, MTN and a fully installed DSTV for six months from Multi Choice Ghana Limited.
