The Under 23 volley ball team of Ghana yesterday qualified for the finals of the volleyball competition at the ongoing ECOWAS Games at the Accra Sports Stadium. They beat their counterparts from Togo three straight.

Ghana will meet Team Niger, who beat Team Benin 3 – 1 to qualify to the finals.

The Coach for Team Ghana, Justice Ajasu, in an interview with the Information Services Department (ISD) Sports said the Nigeriens were a tactically disciplined side but he and his boys would “see how to take the ball to their side and see how they will defend”.

He again said Gold was what Ghana was striving for, promising that his team would go all out to win.
