Ghana To Host Under 20 Tournament PDF Print E-mail

Ghana will host a three-nation U20 friendly tournament in Sekondi this weekend. Information copied to ISD sports desk from the Ghana football association stated that the Black Satellites will be joined by Egypt and Namibia for the competition which starts on Sunday, 8 July, 2012. All teams will play two matches each and the team with most points winning the competition. The three nation tourney is being use as a preparation towards the start of the Africa Youth Championship qualifiers which starts later this month.

Ghana will open their campaign on 8 July when they take on Namibia in the tournament's opener.

Namibia will take on Egypt two days later before the North Africans play their final game against the hosts Ghana on 12 July.

All the matches will be played at the Essipong Stadium in the Western Region.
