President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi has left for Tunis, Tunisia to attend the CAF Super Cup event scheduled for Saturday, February 25 in the Tunisian city of Rades.
Information gathered by Ghana News Agency (GNA) Sports has it that the GFA Boss, who doubles as a member of the CAF Executive Committee left Accra on Thursday for the match that puts together the winner of the CAF Champions League, Esperance against that of the CAF Confederation Cup, Maghreb Association Sportive de Fes.

The Court of Arbitration of Sports (CAS) has upheld the ban of former Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Executive Committee member, Amos Adamu, for his involvement in a bribery scandal related to the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups. The Nigerian official was handed a three-year ban from football related activities by FIFA after being alleged to be offered $800,000 by undercover journalists of British Newspaper, Sunday Times, purporting to support the United States of America's bid for the 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups.

Braimah Kamoko a.k.a “Bukom Banku” will tomorrow, February 25, mount the ring for the first time in the year to fight Hamza Wandera of Uganda in the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa Light Heavyweight Championship at the Accra Sports Stadium and has vowed to 'kill' his opponent.
Bukom Banku, who enters the ring with an enviable record of 22 fights and 16 knock- outs, with the rest ending the full round, said at a press conference in Accra yesterday, that his opponent will receive the severe beatings of his boxing career on Saturday.

Joseph Agbeko, former International Boxing Federation (IBF) Bantamweight Champion, may soon seek to reclaim his international glory in the sport in Ghana.
Agbeko is scheduled to fight in May 2012, under the auspices of Golden Concept Management International, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Manly Spain, Chief Executive Officer of the promotion syndicate who has in recent times organised several boxing bouts in the country, said his outfit has advanced in the arrangement towards the historic event.

The Ghana Amateur Boxing Federation (GABF) will tomorrow, February 25th stage a justify-your-inclusion exercise for the National Amateur Boxing Team, the Black Bombers at the Bridge Boxing Gym, Roman Ridge – Accra.
The exercise is to select competent boxers and to prepare the team ahead of the Africa Olympic Qualifier scheduled for 27th April – 6th May, 2012 in Casablanca, Morocco.
