The Deputy Minister for Women, Children and Gender, Ms Rachael Appoh has donated 30 bags of cement to the chief and people of Gomoa Dahom to help complete on-going projects in the town.

Mr Isaac Kinglsey Ahunu Armah, District Chief Executive for Gomoa East, disclosed this at a durbar of Chiefs and people of Gomoa Dahom as part of the celebration of their Akwambo Festival.

The durbar was used to raise funds to complete projects including a public place of convenience and a community centre.

According to Mr Armah, the MP's donation was in fulfillment of a request they made to her earlier and added that a team of technocrats from the Assembly would visit the town to inspect the projects.

He assured that the Assembly was working hard to improve the road network of the town to open it up.

Mr Armah urged the youth to desist from social vices such as drug abuse, premarital sex, disrespect of the elderly and indecent dressing.

“Concentrate on your education to enable you to acquire the requisite skills and knowledge to become well informed in society”.

He later donated an undisclosed amount as his contribution towards towards the fund raising.
