The Mayor of Accra, Mr. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije, has taken about 5,000 teachers from the Accra Metropolis through the arrangement the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) in collaboration with the Metro Education Directorate has made to officially abolish the shift system in Accra.
