Shelter Afrique, Ghana Home Loans Sign Loan Deal

Shelter Afrique (SA), a Nairobi-based Pan-African Housing finance company and Ghana Home Loans yesterday signed a $ five-million agreement to support the delivery of affordable housing in the country.

The facility, to be delivered over the next 10 years, will support Ghana Home Loan’s mortgage operations in the provision of new houses, improvement of already built ones and completion of half-built houses.

Book On Rights Of Children In Ghana Launched

An educational book titled: “Children’s Rights in Ghana: Reality or Rhetoric? aimed to raise awareness of the public on children’s rights in the country, has been launched in Accra yesterday.

The 321 pages book is the first book to examine Ghana’s compliance with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and its impact on the rights and condition of children in the country.
