Experts Ask Ghana To Enter Global Carbon Market

Dr Samuel Asuming-Brempong, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural and Economics and Agribusiness, University of Ghana has called on policy makers to develop mechanisms to enable smallholder farmers to tap into the global carbon market.

This, he said, would help Ghana reduce the risk of carbon leakage and encourage other developing economies to adopt climate change policies.

Ghana Registered Nurses Association Holds Biennial Delegates Conference

The Minister for Health, Joseph Yieleh Chireh,   has called on nurses to reposition nursing care in the overall “Better Ghana Agenda” and live up to client expectations through acceptable practices and innovations that would impact positively on health care outcomes.

 

Mr Chireh disclosed that in conformity with overall Government policy, the Ministry of Health was in the process of streamlining health personnel training and turning existing health training institutions, especially nursing training colleges, into Colleges of Nursing to train world-class nurses and midwives.
