Mrs Ama Benyiwa-Doe

Mrs Ama Benyiwa-Doe, Central Regional Minister last Thursday re-affirmed Government’s commitment to enact major policies and legislative reforms aimed at ensuring an appreciable representation of women at all levels of governance.

According to her, the Affirmative Action introduced in 1960 has not been sustained because it needs to be legislated to give it a legal backing to facilitate increased participation and representation in governance and high decision making positions.
