Ghana and Libya have pledged greater economic co-operation for their mutual benefit with Libya expressing interest in investing in palm and rubber plantations in Ghana. Consequently, the Ghana/Libya Joint Commission for Co-operation would be meeting in June this year in Libya.

Nana Ato Arthur, Central Regional Minister, yesterday launched a website www.centralregion.gov.gh, aimed at marketing the region’s potentials to accelerate its socio-economic development.

It will among others, provide information about the region’s rich cultural heritage and tourism potentials, and also serve as an important research tool for students and others seeking information about the region.
